Senior RPA (UiPath) Engineer

Job Summary:

GCOM Infotech is seeking a Senior RPA Engineer specializing in UiPath to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade robotic process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to automate business processes, streamline operations, and integrate RPA solutions into broader IT ecosystems using best practices and DevSecOps principles.

Key Job Duties:

  • Design and implement end-to-end RPA workflows using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Automation Hub
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather automation requirements and assess feasibility
  • Develop robust, scalable bots that integrate with APIs, databases, and legacy systems
  • Apply secure coding practices, ensuring compliance with organizational and federal standards (e.g., NIST, OWASP)
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing RPA processes and orchestrations
  • Leverage DevOps tools for version control, testing, and deployment automation
  • Document process designs, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Mentor junior developers and support peer code reviews for quality assurance
  • Monitor bot performance, logs, and metrics using UiPath Insights and orchestrator dashboards

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in RPA development using UiPath
  • Strong knowledge of UiPath architecture, components, and licensing
  • Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Python, and working with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL
  • Experience integrating RPA with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management)
  • Solid understanding of RPA best practices, exception handling, and process design methodology

Preferred:

  • UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, UiARD)
  • Experience with AI/ML integrations, document understanding, or Power Automate
  • Exposure to Agile, DevSecOps, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with public sector or healthcare automation projects
