Job Summary:
GCOM Infotech is seeking a Senior RPA Engineer specializing in UiPath to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade robotic process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to automate business processes, streamline operations, and integrate RPA solutions into broader IT ecosystems using best practices and DevSecOps principles.
Key Job Duties:
- Design and implement end-to-end RPA workflows using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Automation Hub
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather automation requirements and assess feasibility
- Develop robust, scalable bots that integrate with APIs, databases, and legacy systems
- Apply secure coding practices, ensuring compliance with organizational and federal standards (e.g., NIST, OWASP)
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing RPA processes and orchestrations
- Leverage DevOps tools for version control, testing, and deployment automation
- Document process designs, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures
- Mentor junior developers and support peer code reviews for quality assurance
- Monitor bot performance, logs, and metrics using UiPath Insights and orchestrator dashboards
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in RPA development using UiPath
- Strong knowledge of UiPath architecture, components, and licensing
- Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Python, and working with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL
- Experience integrating RPA with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management)
- Solid understanding of RPA best practices, exception handling, and process design methodology
Preferred:
- UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, UiARD)
- Experience with AI/ML integrations, document understanding, or Power Automate
- Exposure to Agile, DevSecOps, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with public sector or healthcare automation projects
